Which hitch should I use on my turbo diesel? 24679 Or C11066 Or another? I want one with a 2inch receiver but dont see that available Thanks Theron

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11066 is what I recommend for a 1998 Volkswagen New Beetle (All Models Including TDI). It has a 1-1/4" opening which is all that is available for this vehicle but I do still have an option to give you the 2" opening. In order to do this you'll need an adapter, the Brophy Hitch Adapter part # HT5R or part # HTAD but please keep in mind these reduce hitch capacity by 50%.
