Fit of SumoSprings TSS-107-40 On Dexter Axle Leaf Spring U-Bolt Plates
Updated 07/23/2020 | Published 07/20/2020 >
Question:
I have the TSS-107-40 springs and am concerned that they dont fit as intended on top of my Dexter springs because the tie plate is not flat but has a couple ridges. Is there a different bracket I need or is not a concern? I also dont know if it will be secure enough or damage the tie plate since its not flat?

I forwarded your photo to the folks at Sumo Springs, and was told that as long as the spring mounts so its level and doesn't rock back and forth, you'll be just fine. From what's shown in your photo, everything looks like it's nice and level and stable. The engineering Manager at Super Springs assures me that their brackets are designed to work with several different styles of spring plates, including the ones with the ribs on them like what what's on your trailer.
