echo brake controler grabby and pulsing brakes when turn signal is turned on was told that is may be software issue with energizing brakes when 4way flasher is on - can u help me troubleshoot Yes - C51180 2018 Toyota tundra

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake controller # C51180 energizing when your 4 way flasher is on sounds like a software issue to me. The installation instructions which are attached show this and I've added a photo to show you the screen where this is adjusted to prevent that issue.
