Question:
I purchased a truck with a custom bumper. The distance from bottom of frame to the bottom of the bumper is 7 inches. I need to know if I need standard part #C15410 or if I need dropped hitch part # C15316. my truck is a 2000 ford f250 super duty.

Expert Reply:
Typically on deep drop bumpers the distance from the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the bumper is 10-12 inches. Since yours is only 7 inches you should be fine to use the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15410.
