recently prchase first 5th wheel, appx 10,000# will this setup work in 2012 ford f250 with 6 foot 9 inch bed

Congratulations on your 5th wheel purchase. yes, the Curt installation kit, # C16424-104, will fit a 2012 Ford F-250 short bed as long as it is not a step side bed. This is a custom installation kit that requires NO drilling into the frame to install the below bed brackets. This makes installation easier and quicker.
For a short bed truck you will need a slider like # 16516. The slider hitch can be slid back when making tight turns to give you the clearance you will need between the truck cab and the trailer. I have included a link to the hitch instructions for you.
