Question:
I have a Godfrey Sweetwater 18foot pontoon boat that needs a new carpet. I have waterfront property with a wood seawall only 12inch above the water level. Can I mount 2 V-Keel rollers on the seawall spaced equal to the center line spacing of the hulls to haul out my pontoon boat? The light weight of the boat is about 1400 lbs. I could strip most of the topside weight dockside if necessary. Would two rollers #811 work or would you recommend larger rollers?

This could work but make sure the wall can handle it. The roller, # YR1000Y, does not have an official capacity but just for the ease of moving the boat on them I would use as many rollers as could fit. The issue is that since the entire boat is not supported at the same time, it could end up damaging the boat.
Another option is to construct a device like in the picture I have included using rollers, # DL21741, and some lumber. With this type of set up, it would be very easy to move the boat and it would be fully supported.
