The difference you asked about you already stated. The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # BWRVK3705 is rated for 5,000 lbs more than the other hitch. It will be a stronger option with less limitations due to that. The lock that will work with the hitch to secure it is the Master Lock Padlock # ML4140LH for a single lock or, if you want to lock both sides of the Companion, you can use the Master Lock keyed alike # ML312KA.
The hole for the pins that you will replace with locks is 3/8 inch. Some have use the Python Adjustable Cable Lock - 6' Cable # 8419DPF for this as well.
If you want the absolute strongest hitch option, the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Single Jaw - 27,000 lbs # RP30895 is rated 2,000 lbs higher total. This hitch will use lock # ML4140LH with 1/4 inch shackle to secure it.
