Question:
Our Chevy chassis Express 4500 is back end high. The front needs to be lifted almost 6 inch in most places we RV. This jack seems capable, weight wise. If used on the front end of our rig, in your opinion, would you put it in front of the front wheel or after the front wheel?

Expert Reply:
I would install the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 right behind your front wheels. This will help to level an RV but please note it is not meant to be used to lift your RV off of the front wheels.
Another thing to note is that scissor jacks are meant to be installed on travel trailers and not a motorhome. For your motorhome you'll want to use the FasTen RV Leveling Blocks w/ Carrying Handle # CAM44512 instead. These stack on top of each other and you can add up to 4-1/2" of height to your front end (Camco doesn't recommend going higher than that).
