Could Optronics Trailer Clearance Taillight # MC66AB Possibly Replace Lights that Hardware Ground
Updated 07/07/2020 | Published 07/04/2020 >
Question:
I dont have access to my 1966 Holiday Rambler camper right now but want to replace all the marker lights. I do not know if they currently have a ground wire to the light or not. Should I just buy this optronics MC66AB 2 wire light and ground it to the mounting screw if I dont have a ground wire or would the more expensive 425200 peterson 1 wire marker light be what I should get for this application?

The simple and efficient solution would be to go with the part # MC66AB that you mentioned and if you find that the lights ground through the hardware just run the white wire back to the mounting hardware and you'd be set.
