Welcome back, David!

It looks like the port to plug your Curt Spectrum Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness - Dash Mounted Knob - Up to 4 Axles - Proportional # C28SV in is under the kick panel on the left side under the dash for the 2026 Ram 1500. From what I read, you will need to pull that plastic panel off that is on the floor that runs next to the door when it is closed. That should grant you access to get the kick panel off and then have access to the port.

We haven't done an install on one of these quite yet, so no pictures or videos, but as soon as we do, you better believe we will post them. It looked like a lot of people are running into the same issue you are.

What kind of trailer are you going to be towing? And side note, let me know if this helped and is where the port is or not. I found a few references saying it was here, but I also had one guy say it was under the rear seat (highly unlikely) and another guy say it was behind the touch screen (also pretty unlikely).

It was exactly where you said, thank you! I will work on programming/set up next. I took pictures of the plug and location that I'll forward for whatever you might want to use them for. As to your question I have three trailers, a dump trailer, a flat bed trailer and used most of all, a horse trailer. I put the knob on the side of the center console by my right knee for easy "panic" access. (Some people are unable to understand why you are leaving so much room in front of you while hauling a heavy load..) Any way, thanks! Dave Gray 2026 Dodge Laramie 1500 4x4 hemi..
