Question:
Would the Yakima skybox 18 have enough clearance for the rear hatch to open fully?

I'd be happy to explain how to figure that out. The Yakima # Y07336 SkyBox 18 requires at least 57 inches of clearance. With your front crossbar moved as far forward as it can go (if its moveable), measure from the center of the front crossbar rearward to the seam where the roof and the rear hatch meet. If this distance is 57 inches or more, the Skybox 18 will allow your rear hatch to fully open. If that won't work for you, the slightly smaller SkyBox NX 16 # Y95AV needs at least 47 inches. This is measured from the center of the front crossbar to the line where the roof and hatch meet.
