Question:
I have the curt echo setup on my 2018 f150, I have it in tow/haul mode. While traveling I got to press the brake and my blue indicator on the app isn’t showing the brakes being applied but when I push the red button it applies the brakes . Once I release the button I’m still showing that the brakes are being applied slightly and can feel it holding me back. What is the problem. I have adjusted everything, redownloaded the app and all.

It sounds like your 2018 F-150 trailer brake functions aren't being seen by your Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180. It also sounds like your controller isn't releasing the brakes after using the manual override which indicates power is still being seen by the controller.
I recommend first cleaning your trailer connections using some sand paper and then using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test each individual function of your vehicle side connector. If this solves your issue you'll be good to go. If it doesn't then you may need to replace the unit.
