Question:
Hi, I already purchased a trailer hitch from you guys that was way too easy. The hard part is picking the bike rack. Holy Cow it was easier to pick the bikes :. We purchased 2 Townie Go 7D bikes that weigh 48 pounds each and we want to put fenders on them. Also one is a step through model. What do you recommend? Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Respectfully

I'm certainly glad the hitch purchase was so easy, and we do have a great option for your Townie Go 7D bikes with fenders, including one with a step-through frame. The best option for this is the Saris Freedom 2-Bike Rack # SA4412B.
I really like this rack because it is super lightweight, has significant rise in the shank, and uses cushioned cradles that adjust along the mast to grasp your bikes.
The Freedom, which has a 60 lb per-bike capacity, weighs just 22-1/2 lbs, which makes it a lot easier than most racks for e-bikes to transport to put on your hitch or remove to store. The rise in the shank is also 8 inches, which means it is much better protected from potential ground contact than racks without that amount of rise. And the fact that the cradles adjust along the masts are perfect for bikes with a step-through frame because they are able to grip your bike at numerous different points, as evidenced by the photo of the rack used with a step-through frame that a customer sent in. A bike rack with standard frame hooks may require an adapter bar like # 64005 if the step-through is too low.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Saris Freedom 2-Bike Rack # SA4412B.
