Hi, We have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma with a Truxedo LoPro cover. We are looking for a rack to mount a roof top tent thats availalbe/in stock at the moment. Im having a hard time finding any that meet those needs, any suggestions?

The best way to mount a roof-top tent to your 2017 Toyota Tacoma with a Truxedo LoPro tonneau cover is using a roof rack like Yakima's CoreBar Crossbars Roof Rack System: # Y00421, # Y28TR, # Y06145, # Y06128.

With the way your tonneau cover secures to your bed and the lack of stake-pockets on the Tacoma there isn't a ladder rack available for your Tacoma that works together with your tonneau.

I like the CoreBar system because it has a high capacity and it looks good. One thing that can be confusing is the weight capacity. The stated 220 lbs is the capacity while moving. They are built to withstand the weight of your tent and people sleeping inside while not moving. It is a good idea to check your owners manual and never exceed the limit of your roof or tent. This roof rack works great for rooftop tents like the line of Yakima SkyRise Tents. The two-person # Y07436 or three-person # Y07437 are nice options but I like the look of the Thule Tepui Explorer Kukenam 3 Rooftop Tent # TH8001KSK05.
