Recommended Solar Panel and Controller for Prewired Solar Trailer Connection

Question:

We have 2 6volt batteries that are connected ‘in line’. The trailer is ‘solar prepped’ and has the furrion 10 amp outlet on the outside of the trailer. We would like to connect a solar panel to maintain the batteries while in storage. Recommendations please?

There are a couple of great options to work with the Pre-wired solar connection on your trailer. Here are my recommendations based on the desired power:

Any of these options will work well for your trailer while in storage, but I recommend getting a system that you can use to supplement your power while camping as well or even allow you to dry camp without issue. These panels come with the controller to make sure your batteries are charged but not overcharged with the multistage smart charging system.
