Expert Reply:
The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter Cable for Furrion RV Observation Camera # FR87PR was created for more of the newer vehicle as they tend to struggle with sending 12V power consistently to trailers. Since your Ram 3500 is a 2015 model you should be just fine without the adapter.
If you do end up having issues I recommend splicing in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR behind the camera to solve the issue permanently. This filter provides a steady 12v current to the camera for proper operation.
