Question:
Hi, Im interested in purchasing a trailer hitch that I can add to a 2017 Kia Forte. Im looking to add a wheelchair carrier to that trailer hitch? How can I tell which pitches can support the weight of a wheelchair and the wheelchair carrier? It would be a manual wheelchair.

Both hitches available for your 2017 Kia Forte, the Draw-Tite # 24903 and Curt # C11368, have tongue weight ratings of 200 lbs. If by manual wheelchair you're talking about a standard wheelchair that is your basic design and can fold up then I don't think that will weigh enough to really make a difference and your Forte should be able to handle that weight just fine.
I recommend going with the Curt # C11368 simply because we have found that they tend to have better welds and a thicker powder coat so they will hold up better over time.
If you don't already have a cargo carrier then I recommend the 19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110 because it only weighs in at 30 lbs and it has a completely mesh floor so you get a nice surface to place the wheelchair into while it also allows any water or debris to seep through.
Attached is a review video of this carrier for you to check out.
