Many times the vehicle manufacturer will actually provide a fuse puller in the fuse box, if there isn't one in one of the 4 fuse boxes, you can use a purpose-built fuse puller available from an auto parts store or in a pinch, a pair of tweezers will work. Avoid the temptation to use needle nose pliers, as you can easily damage something. Per the owner's manual, fuse F15 and F43 deal with the trailer lamps.
Typically when a towing circuit fuse blows, it's been caused by a short circuit somewhere in the trailer wiring. Start at the trailer connector on the vehicle and on the trailer. Look for bent, broken or corroded pins. Replace as necessary. Trace each lighting circuit on the trailer from the connector back to the lamp. Look for cracked wires or loose connections. Especially check where wiring passes through frame members, as it's really easy for the wire insulation to wear and for the copper to ground out on the trailer frame.
