Ball mount # 36063 does have to be used in the rise position only. How about ball mount # 3592. It has a drop of 2-3/4 inches and measures 9-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. It is designed for Class I or II hitches. This is going to be the best option out of the ball mounts we carry.
