Question:

I am looking at you d -ring adapters for roadmaster tow bar. I have the Roadmaster stowmaster 5000 tow bar. I have a 1995 jeep wrangler. My current bumper doesnt have d -rings and Im looking to upgrade my bumper. How do I know if the bumper/d-rings are rated for a tow bar to be connected to them?

In order to use the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar part # RM-501 on a 1995 Jeep YJ you'll need a base plate kit, the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # 1409-3 or part # 1409-1. The Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts like part # RM-035-1 work work as it's for motorhome mounted tow bars only and the Roadmaster StowMaster is a vehicle mounted tow bar.

In regards to determining whether or not the d-rings are used for towing, the final say so will come from the manufacturer.
