Question:

I have broken all four cradles on my slightly older Thule-based rocketbox. It is one that is made with a volvo logo so I dont know the Thule model name. The clamps look like the current TH05738 quick grip. But the replacement cradle you offer TH8523387001 looks different from the ones I broke. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how I determine if those would work for me? I can send pictures of the broken cradles if that helps. Thanks! As I checked further, it ends up I just need two replacement cradles. Somehow the other two popped off without breaking... Here is the picture of the clamp (those are all fine) and the type of cradle that I need to replace if possible. I don't think it matters if they match these as I could do the front rail or back rail in the replacements, just that they are compatible with the clamps/box.

Thule has changed hardware from time to time and sometimes hardware is compatible between different boxes. The clamps you have are definitely the Quick Grip Mount Assembly # TH05738 and from the picture you sent in it looks like you can use the Replacement Cradle # TH8523387001 with the Replacement Screw # TH05728 for your application.

I think making sure that the "like" cradles match up on the same crossbar is a great thought just to make sure that everything will line up correctly.
