Will the Curt # C45013 Vertical Receiver Adapter Fit 2009 Dodge Journey SE
Updated 08/09/2012 | Published 08/06/2012 >
Question:
Dodge currently has no date for the availability of their 2 inch vertical adapter. I found some indication via my Google search that your part #C45013 could work on my 2009 Dodge Journey SE although it appears there may be some cautions that the pins may not match up. How do I measure to check on this?

Although the Curt Vertical Receiver Adapter, part # C45013 is designed to work only with the Curt Stealth Hitch, it might possibly work with other vertical receivers.
The crucial dimension will be distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the vertical tube to the end of the receiver. If this distance is more than 7/8 of an inch, the Curt adapter will not work for you.
I have edited a photo showing the complete dimensions of the Curt Adapter.
