The Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers # S64663 will work with the 2 inch receiver on your 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid. It has a 8 inch measurement from the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the wheel hoop so you will have the clearance needed. This is my recommendation for you because it will give you the options you seek.

The Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style for 1-1/4" and 2" Trailer Hitches # S64650 will give you about 2-1/2 inches more clearance, but it is not compatible with RV's other than motorhomes. It will not work with a 5th wheel or travel trailer.

The Swagman Chinook # S64683 is rated for motorhome use but is not rated for use on a travel trailer or 5th wheel. There is much more movement on the back of a trailer and the rack is not rated for that use.
