Question:

I purchased a Yakima Fullback 2 Bike Rack last year for my 2017 ford Explorer...it worked well. However, I now have a 2020 Ford Explorer and your web site stated you cant confirm that this Bike rack will fit it. I hope so, if not I wasted $200.00 WILL IT FIT ?

The 2020 Ford Explorer is a new generation and we do have ways to carry bikes on it but there aren't any trunk mount racks confirmed to fit from any of our manufacturers. Specifically I reached out to Yakima who says the Fullback, part # Y02634, does not fit.

I know you just got a FullBack but since it won't fit on the new SUV I recommend adding a hitch to the Explorer and using a hitch mounted rack. It's a lot easier to move from one vehicle to another in the future. A great hitch that fits the Explorer is part # CU78FR.

Since you've been happy with the FullBack you'll like the Swagman Titan, part # S63400. It has similar cradles and even adds a cable lock.
