Question:
I am looking for a kayak mounting system to use on the factory roof rail bars on a 2008 Odyssey. I have one Oldtown 12 PDL 120 fishing kayak weighing 72lbs and a Hobie Lanai weighing 50lbs. I would like to carry them at the same time and would like an assist feature for the Oldtown. What are my best options to remain safe.

For an assisted kayak carrier the Thule Hullavator pro part # TH898 is the way to go, but it requires aftermarket crossbars installed on your 2008 Honda Odyssey since it can't attach to factory bars and needs ones that stick out further. So for that you'd want the Thule WingBar Evo part # TH711420 and # TH710401.
Then for the other kayak you could use an additional Hullavator or for a non-assisted carrier the Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 would be a great choice as well.
