I have an awesome solution for you but I don't have the traditional steel fold out steps with the 28" mounting width.
Instead I highly recommend the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" to 29-7/8" RV Door Frames part # LC791572. This is designed for entry heights between 27" and 36". It has three steps that are an 8" step height or the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" - 29-7/8" Wide RV Door Frames part # LC733931. This is for entry heights between 22" and 28" and is a double step with the same 8" step height.
These are by far the best upgrade you can make to a camper. It will make getting in and out so much easier and much more stable. The drop legs that make contact with the ground make this the most stable step system out there.
Check out the video I did on these that I have linked for you. While I know these aren't exactly what you had in mind you will be a huge fan of them aftr the first time you use them.
