Question:

I already have the Yakima Singlespeed bike rack, but am missing the tongue, key, and hardware. I was wondering if there was any way I could just get those pieces.

We definitely have the parts you need for your Yakima SingleSpeed 1-Bike Platform Rack.

For the replacement tongue, use part # 8880841.

for the replacement hardware bag, use part # Y79FR . This comes with comes with a 5mm hex wrench, two threaded nut plates, and four of each M8x16 screw, M8 washer, M8 lock washer.

If you know the specific key number you need, it can be purchased through part number Y8772-A### (replace "###" with your actual key number), for example part # Y8772-A139 for a replacement key number 139.

If you're not in any rush, you could use the included change key that you'll get with # 8880841, to remove the existing lock core on your SingleSpeed, so long as it's in the unlocked position, it will slide out and reveal the lock number stamped on its side, as shown in the attached example photo. Once you get the number, you can proceed to order the specific key as mentioned earlier.

Otherwise, to order everything at the same time, order any single key number, like # Y8772-A139 with the matching lock core # Y8771-A139, for example. Again, the rack has to be unlocked for you to be able to swap them out using the change key. If it's locked, you'll need to drill it out or get a locksmith to remove it.
