Replacement for Axle-Less Trailer with Rectangular Four Bolt Brake Mounting Flanges

Question:
Hello, I have an old Axelless trailer I would like to replace the hyrdrolic breaks on to replace with electric brakes. However it looks like the flange is a non standard size that is holding the existing backing plate. Am I S.O.L? Do you have any suggestions. It looks like a four bolt pattern, but it is rectangle. The centers measure 2 7/8th inches and 1 5/8th inches for the mounting bolts.

The best option I have is a new axle-less system which uses a standard brake mounting flange pattern so installing electric trailer braking assemblies will be no issue. In order to get the correct set, we'll need to know the axle capacity of the existing axle. The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Electric Brake Hubs part # A35RS545E has a 3,500 lb weight capacity with 5 on 4-1/2" mounting pattern. This is our most common option.
Please note, replacing the axle is going to be the only option as I am not aware of any modern braking assemblies which use a rectangular four bolt brake mounting flange.
