Question:
WHAT PARTS WILL I NEED TO MAKE THIS WORK ON A 2020 SUBARU OUTBACK? THE SIDE RAILS DO NOT PROVIDE THE MINIMUM SPACING AND THE FACTORY CROSS BARS THAT SWIVAL ACROSS THE ROOF ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH EITHER. THANK YOU

Expert Reply:
The Thule Hullavator Pro, part # TH898, needs an aftermarket roof rack that extends out beyond the rails of your 2020 Subaru Outback by at least 4 inches. This is so there's not contact with the side of the Subaru when using the load assist feature
I recommend the Malone AirFlow2, part # MPG216.
The AirFlow2 fits onto the Outback's side rails giving you a good solid rack for your Hullavator Pro and kayak.
