Height of Arms on Roadmaster Direct Connect Base Plate Kit Installed on 2019 Chevy Equinox

Question:

what height is the connection points for this baseplate installed on 2019 Chevy Equinox? Im sure i will need some type of hitch. Blue ox baseplate states 16inch bracket height. Roadmaster does not state this, but i assume its the same?

I contacted Roadmaster and they were able to confirm that the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit for the 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, part # RM-523193-5, measures 15-3/4 inches from the ground to the center of the arms.

You'll want to measure your hitch height on the RV. If the difference in height between your Equinox and the RV is more than 3 inches, you will need to use a high low adapter. I've linked our selection at the bottom of the page for you as well as our article on how to select the correct one.
