Hello, I have a worn rubber f shaped bow stop that needs replacing. I’m new to boating and trailering so forgive me if this is a stupid question but would I need to replace it with the same part or are there newer options available now - for example a roller that might make it easier to load and not mark the boat? Thank you for your help.

If you are referring to a bow stop such as the Yates Y-Style Bow Stop for Boat Trailers part # YR7Y44-4 then yes you can replace this with a bow roller such as the Bow Roller Assembly part # YR450Y-400Y which won't mark the boat. This can then be used with the CE Smith Bow Roller Bracket for Winch Stands part # CE31005PG or you can match one to fit the bracket you have now from the list below.
