Question:
I just purchased the max tow 41/2 raised hitch adaptor mt70355 and having installed the C11436 Curt hitch next week. Will this adaptor clear the bumper.

Expert Reply:
The MaxxTow Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter MT70355 will not clear the bumper of the 2018 Chevy Volt with the Curt Hitch # C11436.
If you are using the MaxxTow for an extension, you can use the CR Brophy Hitch Extender for 1-1/4" Hitch Receivers part # hes6 which will give you 5-3/4" of extension and won't interfere with the bumper. We do not have an option for a rise adapter that will be compatible with the Curt hitch on the Volt.
