Question:

I have the rm nighthawk and base plate for a 2020 equinox premiere. To complete what kind of wiring kit and brake system do I need? I am going to have a 2nd car to tow so a portable brake system would work best if that is possible.

The Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-676 is an excellent option for a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox Premiere when used with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-523193-5.

For wiring, the Roadmaster Smart Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 is what you'd want to use.

Then for a portable braking system, the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR is the best option on the market. The Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit part # RM-9332 is also needed.

I have a 2020 chevy equinox Premier front wheel drive ,engine is a 1.5 L turbo. I have a Roadmaster Falcon2 tow bar. What parts do I need to flat tow behind a class A RV.

2018 Chevy Equinox Premier with 1.6 lIter diesel. I’m wondering if the Roadmaster or the etrailer baseplate requires fewer modifications. I am interested in the Roadmaster all terrain tow bar. I’ll also need wiring, lights and a moderately priced braking system. Recommendations?

The Roadmaster and etrailer base plate kits have a really similar install process. Since you're going with the All Terrain Tow Bar, I recommend the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit # RM-523193-5 to ensure direct compatibility. For lighting/wiring, the Roadmaster # RM-15267 will work perfectly for a braking system I really like the Brake Buddy Classic # HM39494.
