Thule does list the OutWay bike rack, # TH45JV, as a fit for the 2006 Mazda 5. They base their fits off of base models. If the vehicle has a large spoiler, the rack may not fit. If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level.
