Why is the Left Hand Light More Expensive than the Right Hand Light?

Why does this light cost $5 more than the left hand one?

Expert Reply:
The left hand taillight is more expensive because it contains more LED lights than the right side, due to the addition of the license plate light on the bottom of the light. The white LED is more expensive to produce also and that adds to the cost of the left hand light because the license plate lamps are white.
