Question:
Will this wiring kit work on a 2006 Saturn Vue 2WD V6? The video shown was for a 2007 Saturn Vue but I wanted to make sure.

The Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit # 119178KIT is technically a universal kit so it will indeed fit your 2006 Saturn Vue.
With that being said, the T-One # 118418 is actually a plug and play style that tees in behind your tail lights and would be much easier to install so I recommend going with this instead. I have attached an installation video of this kit as well for you to compare to the universal kit.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch then I recommend the etrailer # e98865 simply because it has a matte black finish that looks more rugged than the classic glossy black look that all of the other hitches have. Attached is an installation video of the Curt # 13591 which will be the exact same thing for the etrailer install.
To complete your towing setup I recommend checking out the Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45155 which comes with a 2" hitch ball and a 2-1/4" rise. You will want to make sure that this is correct for your towing application though. I have attached a helpful article about ball mounts that you can check out for this.
