What is the Width of the Opening of the Curt S-Hook

Question:
the holes in my jeep attachment are .675 diameter. the distane to the edge is about the same at .650 the quick links that came with my safety chains are too small to fit. i tried some larger quick links only to find that the opening was the same, only the shaft size larger maybe your locking s hooks will work how wide is the opening?

The Curt S-Hook with Wire Keeper for Safety Chains and Cables part # C81830 has an opening that is 3/4". Based on your measurements this should workout for you.
