Since your 2016 Ram 2500 is a short bed you'd want a slider hitch instead of the fixed hitch that comes with the part number you referenced. This will give you the needed clearance to make tight turns without having the cab of the truck hit the nose of your trailer around corners. Curt has a a similar setup with part # C16616 that has a slider hitch instead of the fixed hitch. This is a fit for your truck though.
