Question:
will this curt 13650 hitch fit my 2008 escape with a factory 1 1\4 inch hitch installed on it

Expert Reply:
We do have trailer hitches that will fit a 2008 Ford Escape with a factory hitch installed, but Curt hitch # 13650 is not one of them. The most popular hitch that will fit is # 75751. I have included a link to the installation instructions.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit, # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring if the vehicle has a tow package and you want a 4-Way, use # 118251. But if the vehicle does not have a tow package or has backup sensors, use # 118551. I included instruction links for both wiring harnesses.
