Can I Put A Snow Plow On A 2012 Ford Escape 2WD

Question:

Will mounting kit K281235 for 2012 Ford Escape work on the 2WD version of the vehicle? Specifically says for 4WD, but unsure if it could work/ be modified to work on 2WD version.

To answer your question, yes, the mounting kit # K281235 will fit your 2012 Ford Escape 2WD. No additional modification or steps would be required. That said, it is generally not recommended to plow with a 2WD vehicle. In light snow, say 6" or less it may do ok. But in deeper snow and ice it may lack the power/ traction needed to effectively get the job done.
