Question:
I am looking to use the Thule Hideaway Awning with my FrontRunner slimline II roof rack. Now there isnt a specific bracket for this however there is leeway in other brackets. The Thule awning is a spacing between the mounting channels that interfaces with the mount. I wondering what is the distance between the two channels?

There are a few different Thule HideAway Awnings available, such as the roof rack mount type like part # TH490010 or the direct mount type like part # TH490011. The roof rack mount type is the option which has the channels on the back and these channels are spaced 2-3/8" apart on center. The t-bolt that slides into this channel is the Thule T-Bolt part # 853-5715 which has an M8 stud.
