Question:

someone gave me a Sears Sport 20-SV Carrier. The numbers on the lock are 2982. Do you have keys for this? also it doesnt have the the u shpaped mounting bolts just a metal part with a slot on the bottom....?

Thank you so much for the info and pictures! The correct replacement key for your lock for is part # THKEYN2982 and the correct replacement mounting hardware is part # TH05603.

The mounting hardware does look a little different than the original mounting hardware that came with the box but this is the only kit available that matches up with the mounting holes and doesn't require you to modify your cargo box. I actually just spoke with someone else about this same mounting hardware kit for their Sears box and they confirmed that it does match up.

I found one of these sears boxes washed up on the beach. Are new lockets available for these boxes? The existing lock has been tampered with and I don’t believe it will work even with a replacement key.

@Natw The exact lock kit isn't replaceable, but you can use the Lock Core and Key # SR03807 along with the Lock Locator # TH03808 to add a lock to that cargo carrier. You'll have to drill out and remove the old lock system in order to do this.
