Would Missing Trailer Battery Affect Trailer Lighting Functions
Updated 03/23/2020 | Published 03/22/2020 >
Question:
I am missing one of the 12v batteries on my trailer. My lights on the drivers side of the trailer do not work even when hooked to my truck. Does the missing battery have something to do with that. If not what could it be.

A trailer's battery would not affect the trailer lighting functions as they are not powered from the battery. If I had to guess I'd say that the trailer wiring was possibly damaged when someone removed the battery or you have a weak ground for the lighting on that side of the trailer.
