So because there are so many makes and models of tonneau covers, there is only one way to know the replacement tarp you need, and that's by knowing the exact model of tonneau you have on your 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed. If you don't know this off hand there may be a serial number somewhere on the cover which could let you know.
