Is Propane Pressure Before Regulator High Pressure Propane

Question:
Hello, The extend-a-stay LP adapters that plumb into a RV LP system are plumbed between the storage tank and the pressure regulator. These kits come with various hoses with quick disconnect capabilities. Are these hoses high pressure hoses since they are being used on the high pressure side of the regulator. Also is there some way to identify the safe operating pressures on these hoses. Do the hoses have a stamped ID on the hose stating working operating pressures?

Expert Reply:
The lines and ports that would mount before your propane regulator would be unregulated propane and not high pressure as high pressure propane is regulated just to a higher pressure. Low-pressure propane burners regulate gas intake to about 6 ounces per square inch, whereas high-pressure burners regulate gas intake to between 1 and 60 pounds per square inch. Pressure in a propane tank regardless of size can range between 100 and 200 psi typically.
