Is a PullRite SuperGlide 4100 Compatible with Curt Base Rail Kit for 2018 GMC Canyon Long Bed?

I have a PullRite 4100 installed on my 2004 Ford Ranger. I bought a 2018 GMC Canyon I4 diesel long bed and wonder what I need to transfer the 4100 hitch to Canyon.

I have a solution for you if your Pullrite 4100 mounts in the industry standard base rails to attach a 5th wheel, but because the Curt # C16418-104 is a custom mounting kit for full size GMC/Chevy trucks, it will not be a fit on your 2018 GMC Canyon. Additionally, there is not a custom fit rail kit available for your Canyon since they were not designed with 5th wheel towing in mind. You would instead need to use a universal base rail kit like the Reese # RP30035 to provide your truck with industry standard rails to mount a 5th wheel hitch.

I do recommend making sure that your Pullrite 4100 Superglide is compatible with the industry standard rails since there are some models that are not compatible. I would also recommend making sure that your 2018 GMC Canyon I4 Diesel has sufficient towing capacity for your trailer, as my research shows that you're going to be limited to around 7000-lbs and most 5th wheel trailers are much heavier.
