Will this plate fit a RoadMaster 8000?

The older Roadmaster Eagle 8000 is compatible with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms part # RM-524443-5 which is designed for the 2018 Ford Focus as long as it doesn't have adaptive cruise control. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

You will also need wiring, supplemental braking system and possibly a high low adapter. For the wiring, I recommend Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 and Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700. You will also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751454 with the Focus.

Finally you may need a high low adapter to tow the vehicle level with the motor home. In order to know how much rise or drop it will require to tow level some measuring is required. I have attached a helpful article that helps you figure out which high low adapter may be needed and our selection of high low adapters.
