Is Frame Mounted Hitch Solution Better than Bumper Hitch of 2016 Ford F-150

Question:

I have a 2016 F150 with a pumper hitch. Even tho the bumper is rated for the wait of my trailer. Is it better to ad a sleeve hitch ?

If you are considering a frame mounted hitch over your bumper ball mount/hitch I would recommend you go ahead and go the frame hitch route. This will give you quite a bit more towing capacity and the ability to use a different rise/drop ball mount so that you can tow your trailer as level as possible.

The Curt hitch part # C86HR would be a really great choice for this. It's mostly hidden too which gives it a less visible look. Check out the install video and picture I attached as well.
