Question:

Will the Thule Outway 2-bike rack fit well on my 2010 Honda Element? Also, I have a women's Specialized Ariel and 'm wondering if this rack will fit with that type of bike if I buy an adaptor bar for my bike?

The Thule OutWay trunk mount bike rack # TH45JV, will fit nicely on your 2010 Honda Element. This bike rack uses 4 retractable cables to secure the rack to the vehicle so it installs very quickly.

To carry women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes you will need an adapter like you have said, # TH982XT for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.

I researched the Specialized Ariel bikes and the adapter will work on that style.
