When the Draw-Tite Class II # 36644 is installed on a 2020 Subaru Impreza, you'll have right at 14-1/2 inches of ground clearance under the hitch, which better than any of the other hitches we offer for that vehicle, and is excellent for a vehicle of that type. Ten to 12 inches is about average for a smaller car like the Impreza, so 14-1/2 is pretty good.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. for a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the # 118744. For a ball mount, # 36051 is recommended. For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use # 19256 or # 19258 for a 2 inch.
